The sun is finally out, which means it was time for the
Executionors Car Club to hold there Spring Summer Riot at the famous
Ace Cafe in London. (it was the first london cafe to have a jukeboxback in the 50’s). This is always a good social, with plenty of cars, people, burnouts and live rock’n'roll. I have been into hot rods, drags and the art of customising since my father took me to the Chelsea Cruise in the 70’s. Rather than post up a load of pictures of cars, here is a selection of my favorite details on show….

Hot Rod culture, in particular the whole ratrod thing is a very private culture in England so its always a pleasure to get to see so many cars and people in one place, I put a bunch of people shots over on slamxhype if your interested. Exactly how the sound of a V8 blasting down a road, the smell of burning tires, the creeping rust and sunset catching chrome impacts on my work is hard to say, but I know it does.
