CINELLI / RVCA SHOW
Last night I went and checked out the Cinelli / RVCA show in SF. The show was to launch the Barry Mcgee Cinelli collaboration frame that has been circulating the internet. The place was packed with people and the exhibition was pretty rad. The list of artist exhibiting was impressive: Ashley Macomber, Clare Rojas, C.R. Stecyk III, Dan Murphy, DMOTE, Jesse Geller, Josh Lazcano, KAWS, Madsaki, Phil Frost, RVCA founder PM Tenore, and Stephen Powers. I usally don’t check out many art shows any more. They are always so packed which makes it hard to enjoy the art. SInce RVCA gave Mash the window and I am into bike I decided to roll up there. Here are some pics….
Who invited Greg? He is a local SF crazy guy. He shows up to all skateboard and bike events dressed like this. He makes up rap songs about the scene. He has been riding a track bike and skateboard longer then most, but he still is crazy.

This was my favorite of all the bikes. Amaze has been making interesting bike contraption art for a long time. The lawn mower bike - this looks fun. If i only had a yard.
Barry’s installations are always the best!

Close up of the vintage parts used on his bike. I been to his studio and I bet these came from his personal collection. The Madonna del Ghisallo on the top tube is a nice touch. She is the Patron Saint of Bicycling.

It was good to see Norm. It’s been awhile

Kaws did a nice flip to the Cinelli logo

I am always a BIG fan of Phil Frosts art. I want a disk wheel painted like this.
