20th Century Thriller
Finally the hot weather has reached us. A Late invite to the Womad festival in the west country was most welcome in the 30 degrees heat that covered the U.K. over the weekend. It was my kids first experience of a festival and it seemed a good place to start. No trouble. No litter. No taxing. No aggro. Just good good people enjoying a weekend of alternative music and dirty reggae. It seams fitting that the best weather was reserved for the best behaved. I really had a good time. The highlight had to be experiencing Carters Fairground from the 1930’s. Original rides restored and maintained covering a massive area. Stunning.

Hey nick, nope I did look for you! there was an amazing double boat with a giant Union jack on one hull and a stars & Stripes on the other. The only tats on show were on the muffin tops of the great English ladies.

That reminds me, I’ve got an amazing silk ribbon post card from the early cross atlantic passenger ships I need to photograph for you.
Seen a fair few of those muffin top tattoos.
