It takes a lot for someone to chose their poison.

But, it takes even more to change your poison, & more than that for someone to make you change your poison.

Well that is what has happened to me. Long have I been singing the praises of Vodka, flying the Flag of the Grey Goose.

But those days are gone, they may return & if they do it will be with less vigor. The truth is I have moved on, & I have my good man Acyde to thank for it. I now am a friend of Jerry.

Sailor Jerry to be precise. More than Tattoo’s the man created a nice blend of Spiced Rum, that will have you wanting more.

It seems that I am a late comer to the club, & I have 2 lady friends who have been drinking Sailor Jerry so long they refer to him as ‘Slimmy Jimmy’. It reminds me of that scene in ‘Scent of a Woman’ when Al Pacino tells Chris O’Donnell to order him up a Bottle of John Daniels….
‘You mean Jack Daniels’
‘When you have known him as long as I have you can call him John’
Or words to that effect.

References aside, this is a very fine poison, & as it says on the label, ‘This is no Girly Rum’
