I hope everyone’s up on this gizmodo article from a while back. I love it. Take from it what you will. Deiter Rams looks so much cooler than Jonathan Ive who somehow looks, even with that really honest portrait, like a tool. Almost as tool-y as the people waiting on line outside the Apple store every day.  I like Rams’ 10 Principals For Good Design.  The one about being durable is right on. My Braun alarm clock from decades ago still works like a charm. My first generation iPod….mmmmm not so much.
