Rappers Are Donuts
If Barack Obama doesn’t win the 2008 Presidential election, I’m putting the blame squarely where it belongs - on rappers.*
Seriously, if I need hear hip-hop artists talking about politics in rhyming couplets, I’ll break out It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back.
Normally I’d think that Puffy would reserve this type of buffoonery for the swill he’s spitting on MTV, but clearly he’s taken time to learn how to work a video camera and the results are as absurd as McCain’s choice for VP.
(Zing!)
With all of the script writers dude has working on his reality shows of rappers who will won’t be around next year, you’d think he’d have some better material.
And my level of disappointment of Puff’s idiotic rant was only interrupted by Young Jeezy’s album The Recession, which after several spins, I’ve determined has nothing to due with the state of the economy.
If you’re going to name your album after the fucked up state of things, at least make that shit relevant to its’ title. I guess it’s my fault for thinking that Jeezy would actually drop something that had more to do with than selling dope and finding new ways to insert emphatic ad-libs.
*And Florida.
