Friday fishsticks

I’m tired. Working all night. This blog is a chore. I must hurry and get it done before I have to get up and go do my paper route.
This looked cool, it’ll take some of you back, back in time…
Went to the release party for Fabien Baron’s book ‘Liquid Light, 1983-2003′ published by Steidldangin. Absolutely amazing photos, taken over the last few decades - simple concept, really: ultra-long exposure of waves and the sky, but the images become painterly, with a soft, feathered look punctuated by the stillness of the horizon, or stationary shoreline elements like the pier moorings in the photo on the left:

Signed by the master!
Also went to go see my friend Davi Russo’s photography opening at Heist on Essex street. Congratulations Davi, nice photo pics.

Davi Russo with mutual friend Vogue China’s Grace Lam (WHAT are you doing in town, lady? Oh yeah, fashion week)
Wound up at Milk Studios in Chelsea for the ‘The Last Magazine’ release party, the new cool thing from acquaintance Magnus Berger. I have a lot of respect for just deciding to do a magazine and then throwing down and putting it out… Congratulations Magnus and Tenzin!

‘The Last Magazine’ party… Crowded as hell, I don’t really know how I got this picture.
Later, I’m goin’ to sleep.
Edit: WHOOPS, REEEEEEWINNNNNND… Forgot to mention:
Same photo from earlier in the week, I know. I’m TIRED, I tell ya! I got nothing in me.
FLOW, the doc about water commodification that I did the poster for, opens in NY and LA this weekend, so check it out.
