AMEN, Ohio.
I’m sick again. And while I should be in Vegas right now getting ready for a live painting exhibit right now, I’m posted up in bed sweating it out. And we know what happens when I have too much time on my hands…
Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur breaks it DOWN. Not just once, but TWICE.
I want this woman as my President. Now.
Too bad congress is mostly full of do-nothings and cronies.

Don - hope you get well soon, nothing sucks more than being sick - Amen is exactly right! For those that have been following Don’s post and who have been reading the comments, know that I believe that the bailout was necessary. With that said, I have also stressed that a bailout needs to fixed the system and not be a free handout - “main street” must be taken care of and as it’s taxpayer’s money that is being used, the people should reap any future benefits (if any).
It’s good too see that there’s people in congress like her, the bad part is, she’s a minority. How come I don’t see any of the current candidates showing this much concern and this much care for the people???

Thanks for the well wishes, SC.
Here’s another interesting article I think everyone should read, just for shits and giggles:

It absolutely makes me sick to see these executives making the bonuses that they do. They definitely need to be made accountable - I’m not sure if the government should be setting rules here but, somebody needs to hold them accountable.
It’s funny how some people that are arguing for a free market, feel that the government should monitor these executives or hold them accountable. Isn’t it a fundamental right for one to earn a living? Can you blame people for wanting to make as much money as they can? I don’t think it’s a government’s job to limit what people earn (that would be fascist). It’s the people that allowed for these bonuses that should be held accountable. Shareholders should take some responsibility too!
I guess what everything boils down to is the fact that, people have to take care of their own shit. Do what it takes to take control of your investments, your money.
