Sponsored question of the week

Seems I am the first one out. And I have chosen to do this with two pairs, since I am now doing my own label it would be too easy to choose only my own, but since I’ve been a huge denim-geek for ages I have chosen one “before” pair and one “after”. One pair that was my favorites before I had the opportunity to actually design and make my own view on the perfect fit.

Before pair is a pair of Levi’s 501 anno 1933 (replicas). These babies quickly became my best friend, bought them back in 2000 when working at one of the best denim stores in Sweden. Practically lived in them day in and day out for 18 months before giving them a good soak. Think it took at least 12 more before they got thrown in the washer. Due to the light weight denim it felt like walking around in no pants at all, perfect when warm outside. This is by far the nicest fadings and whiskers I’ve managed to apply to a pair of jeans. A nice detail is the NRA label attached to the leather patch, think it stands for “national recovery association” or something similar. Some sort of American association that concerned the build up of the country after WW1 (correct me if I’m wrong, American history is not my strongest part). Absolutely love these!

Max checking out the whiskers, think he’s a little bit jealous on such nice whiskers…

My after pair is (of course) a pair of my own, an early sample of our first limited style Sarves. Produced in 200 pairs out of our own 15,5 unsanforized and unsinged Jamtli quality, selvedge with colors of our origin County flag - blue, white and green. These are also featured with an embossed reindeer antler button and a nice soft leather patch with Sami inspired print. Need to get them repaired in the crotch though, to be able to start wearing them again. I have at least 12-14 months left before I can soak these…
