I woke up to an email from friends in San Francisco saying they were popping champagne and the streets were full of people celebrating. Which pretty much sums it up. Amazing stuff and finally some good news on the TV. Democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope.

I was first to vote in my district.
Unfortunately, that meant I witnessed some ineptitude on the part of the polling station and its volunteers. Still, it won’t bring me down. I have faith in a good campaign and surge of voters.
