It’s been a hot minute I know, but aside from learning, that yes, you can drink on antibiotics I’ve been busy, some of which you will all see here soon. There’s been a lot of complaining about snow and cold temperatures the past few days. It’s always funny to me because it’s just a part of life where I’m from. We’re a different breed of human though, instead of shying away from the cold and snow, we find ways to enjoy it. Such was the case this past weekend when I helped host a stag for one of my good friends. We managed to spend most of our time outdoors in spite of the -30C temperatures and thigh deep snow. Sometimes all you need is a few beers and a fire.

I’ve had a recent fixation on a cover of The Cramps, Human Fly by Blessure Grave. Tonight as I sat listening I was brought back to a large string of reply all’s between co-workers a couple years back about the best covers recorded and I thought it would be an interesting topic to bring to the Lodge. So often we are subject to sub par renditions of mediocre originals yet there have been gems. So to my bunk mates in this dark lodge I say post.
