going to the desert this coming week to attend yet another tradeshow to watch people drone-on about how their product is the dopest this, and the dopest that, blah blah. having to hang up my vacation hat to endure all of this, said hat on my head further prompts the painful realization of fading skilled crafts. ok maybe not fading but, say, under appreciated/celebrated.

makes all that youth culture so proud of the pixels they’ve pushed together or screen shots they’ve renamed, pretty hollow.
