Related to a post on an italian website about my company.

‘Shopping from home is much less stressful than going out, try parking, fight with old people walking like old hernia charging ahead and get scholarships.
Since we especially your health, here’s a quick update of the latest subtleties from the web.’

Quite.

Perfect Tone.

without comments

I had the enormous privilege last night of being present at a charity auction where Mr Peter Gabriel took some time to sit down at a Piano and sing to the awe-struck crowd. There had been a few acts on already, all decent and good, But PG with limited acoustics managed to produce such a perfect tone and sound that I was quite unexpectedly flawed.

A rare treat to witness perfection and true genius.

Humbling.

Downfall

We claim to fight for democracy, this is not the will of the people, 59 seats should never in any country allow 5 cabinet places and deputy PM. Laugh away world.. we deserve it.

Reminds me of a game I played in the late 70’s..

Hung out to dry.

with 2 comments

So we’re all watching the news as the sad tale unfolds.. Britain is Hung, back to the schoolyard for the classic face off between the have and have nots.  Already I can feel the currency speculators starting to prey on the pound like the weak pensioner it has sadly become. So we have 2 months ( at least ) of watching sad men bicker while our country goes the way of the Greeks.

Honestly I want to cry. But when DC was up against Jesus and Boss Hogg what can one expect!

Not so much for the political allegiance, but for the graphic.

Just wrong.

Consequence

Consequence.

It’s a word that has been rattling around in my head as the election here in the UK reaches  it’s inevitable underwhelming conclusion sometime in the early hours of Friday morning. There is of course no real choice, there never is.  Three power hungry muppets vying for camera time, repeating the empty promises that they hope will see them on the right side of the removals van outside of no.10.

I’m no politician and have no aspiration to be so, They are all as bad as the next guy and as a country I think we are just too far gone, too over spent,  too mal nourished, incapable, sold out .. I can go on,…

It’s this word ‘Consequence’ which I could have done with hearing a bit more of. Britain, I won’t say Great britain because I have too much respect for the entrepreneurs, soldiers and statesmen that earned that title, sadly my lifetime has been one of bearing witness to its squander. Britain needs consequence, for all the actions that are taken against our mainly law abiding public there is little consequence. From irresponsible hedge fund regulation to the merits of ‘earning’ an Asbos, they co exist so well here because there is little consequence to these actions or indeed any action that collectively has pulled our country down the shit pan and round the bend.

I was recently treated to a brand new experience, or at least the potential of a new experience. Being stranded on the other side of the planet to where I needed to be. I was pretty lucky, only a few days of uncertainty surrounded the end of my bi-annual Asian trip. What struck me wasn’t fear, but genuine excitement at the thought of making my own way out of Asia and across Europe to Home. Quite a few of the guys I met at Narita airport were all relishing the thought of pulling in favors to board trade ships to dock somewhere in the middle east in the distant future. Followed by a long road journey across Europe to eventually get back to Misery. Of course we all wanted to get back to our own castles, but the thought of entering the UK again had a foreboding element to it, you know.. no one smiles at Heathrow, only those in the departure lounge. It was amazing to see how quickly the world shrank over those few days, and it’s such a rarity that ones focus is so singular.

Where can I buy a safari Jacket and a gun.

So a very important 48hrs ahead, I wish Britain one thing.

Consequence.

As a country it’s the thing we all need the most.

A few random pics from my last 2 months of Traveling, sadly no Safari jacket.
